During the match, viewers can enjoy commentary in several Indian languages, including Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Telugu. However, if you switch to MaxView mode, the commentary will be limited to English. While the streaming resolution for the India versus New Zealand match will be limited to Full HD on most smartphones, select tablets and smart TVs will support up to 4K resolution, requiring higher data bandwidth for a seamless experience.
Do note that streaming a 50-over One Day International (ODI) cricket match requires significant data bandwidth. If you are using mobile data, ensure you have a 5G connection or recharge with Jio’s newly introduced cricket data pack, which offers 15 GB of 4G data along with a Jio Hotstar mobile subscription.
This time, streaming the ICC Champions Trophy requires a paid subscription. Jio Hotstar offers three subscription tiers:
Mobile Plan: Rs 149 for three months (limited to 720p resolution on one smartphone).
Super Plan: Rs 299 for three months (allows streaming on up to two devices at a maximum of 1080p resolution).
Premium Plan: Rs 499 for three months (offers ad-free streaming, except during live sports, with up to 4K resolution).
