Jio Hotstar is the exclusive OTT platform that will live-stream both the ICC Champions Trophy and the Indian Premier League (IPL). This time, a subscription is required to access the live streaming of these popular cricket tournaments in India, with plans starting at Rs 149 for three months. However, Jio network users can get free access to Jio Hotstar with the Rs 949 recharge plan.

According to the updated listing on Jio.com, the major Indian telecom operator is now offering a complimentary Jio Hotstar Mobile subscription, valued at Rs 149, for free with the Rs 949 recharge plan. This plan comes with a validity of 84 days, 2 GB of high-speed 4G data per day, and unlimited 5G data. Additionally, it includes unlimited calls and 100 SMS per day.
The Jio Hotstar Mobile plan is ad-supported and allows users to access all content on a single mobile device at a time, including live sports, the latest movies, and Disney+ originals. However, streaming is restricted to 720p resolution. In contrast, the Super plan, priced at Rs 299 for three months, enables streaming in 1080p on mobile, web, and smart TVs, supporting up to two devices simultaneously. Lastly, the most expensive Premium plan, priced at Rs 499 for three months, offers an ad-free experience with up to 4K resolution streaming.
